Chapter No: 1

Narrated from Ibn Abbas (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “There are two favors that of which many people are careless; health and free time."

Chapter No: 2

Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said:"Who will take these words from me and then act upon them, or teach one who will act upon them?" So Abu Hurairah said: "I said: 'I shall O Apostle of Allah!ﷺ' So he ﷺ took my hand and enumerated five (things), he said: "Guard against the unlawful things and you shall be the most worshiping among the people, be content with what Allah has allotted for you and you shall be the richest of the people, be kind to your neighbor and you shall be a believer, love for the people what you love for yourself and you shall be a Muslim. And do not laugh too much, for indeed much laughter causes the heart to die” Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said:"Who will take these words from me and then act upon them, or teach one who will act upon them?" Chapter No: 3

Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “Hasten to do (good) deeds before seven things. Are you waiting but for overwhelming poverty, or distracting richness, or debilitating illness, or babbling senility, or sudden death, or the Dajjal, the worst of the awaited unseen, or the Hour? The Hour is more calamitous and bitterer."

Chapter No: 4

Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “Increase in remembrance of the cutter of tastes." Meaning death.

Chapter No: 5

Hani the freed slave of Uthman (RA) said: “When Uthman (RA) would stand by a grave he would cry until his beard was wet (in tears). He was asked: 'The Paradise and the Fire were also mentioned but you did not cry, yet you cry because of this?' So, he said: 'Indeed Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "Indeed the grave is the first stage among the stages of the Hereafter. So if one is saved from it, then what comes after it is easier than it. And if one is not saved from it, then what comes after it is worse than it." And Allah’s Apostle ﷺsaid: "I have not seen any sight more horrific than the sight of the grave."

Chapter No: 6

Narrated from Ubadah bin As-Samit (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him. Whoever dislikes to meeting Allah, Allah dislikes to meeting him."

Chapter No: 7

Narrated from Aishah (RA) that when this verse was revealed: And warn your near kindred. (26:214), then Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "O Safiyyah bint 'Abdul-Muttalib! O Fatimah bint Muhammed! O Banu 'Abdul-Muttalib! I have no authority on your behalf over Allah for anything. (However) Ask me for whatever you like of my wealth."

Chapter No: 8

Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said:“A man who cries out of Allah’s fear, will not enter into the Fire until milk returns to the udder; and dust raised (while fighting) in Allah’s path and the smoke of Hell fire will not be combined together."

Chapter No: 9

Narrated from Abu Dhār (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “Indeed I see what you do not see, and I hear what you do not hear. The Heavens moan and they have the right to moan. There is no spot in them, (equal to) the size of four fingers, except that there is an angel placing his forehead in it, prostrating before Allah. By Allah! If you knew what I know, then you would laugh little and you would cry much. And you would not taste the pleasures of your women in the beds but would have gone out to the plains calling to Allah in prayer” Abu Dhār (RA) said, “I wished I was a tree and chopped to pieces”


Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “If you knew what I know, then you would laugh little and you would cry much."

Chapter No: 10

Narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: “Indeed a man may utter a statement seeing no harm in it, but for it he will fall seventy years in the Fire."


Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father, from his grandfather that Prophet ﷺ said: “Woe to the one who talks about something to make the people laugh, in which he speaks lies. Woe to him! Woe to him!”
