Narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "Wearing silk and gold is prohibited for the men of my Ummah but allowed for their women.”

Chapter No: 1
Narrated from Suwaid bin Ghafalah that Umar (RA) gave a sermon at Al-Jabiyah and he said: " Allah’s Apostle ﷺ has disallowed(wearing) silk except for the space of two finger's, or three, or four."
Chapter No: 2
Narrated from Anas bin Malik (RA) that during a battle Abdur Rahman bin Awf (RA) and Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam (RA) complained to the Prophet ﷺ concerning lice. So he allowed them to wear silk shirts. He (Anas) said: "I saw them wearing it."
Chapter No: 3
Waqid bin 'Amr bin Sa'd bin Mu'adh said: "Anas bin Malik (RA) arrived. So I approached him and he asked: 'Who are you?' I replied: 'I am Waqid bin 'Amr [bin Sa'd bin Ma'adh].'" He (Waqid) said: "So he started to cry and said: 'You resemble Sa'd and indeed Sa'd was one of the greatest among people, and of the tallest. A silk cloak with gold woven into it was sent to the Apostle of Allah ﷺ. Allah’s Apostle ﷺ wore it and ascended the Minbar. Then he stood, or sat, and the people began touching it (to examine), and they said: 'We never saw a garment like this before today.' So he said: 'Are you amazed at this? Indeed Sa'd’s handkerchiefs in Paradise are better than what you see.'"
Chapter No: 4
Al-Bara (RA) said: "I have not seen anyone with long hair and wearing red garments more handsome than the Apostle of Allah ﷺ. He had hair that would cover his shoulders which were broad (and he was) neither too short not too tall."

Narrated from Ali (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺdisallowed wearing Al-Qassi (silken clothes) and what was dyed with safflower.
Chapter No: 6
Narrated from Salman (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ was asked regarding ghee (butter), cheese, and furs, so he said: “The lawful is what Allah made lawful in His Book, the unlawful is what Allah made unlawful in his Book, and about which He is silent; then it is among that for which He has forgiven."
Chapter No: 7
Narrated from Ibn Abbas (RA) that a sheep died so Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said to its owners: “Why don’t you remove its skin, then tan it so you could have benefitted from it.”
Narrated from Ibn Abbas (Ra) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "Any skin which is tanned is pure."
Narrated from Abdullah bin Ukaim that a letter came from the Apostle of Allah ﷺ saying: “Do not use the skins and tendons of dead animals."
Chapter No: 8
Narrated from Abdullah bin Umar (Ra) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "On the day of judgment, Allah will not look at the one who drags his garment arrogantly.”
Chapter No: 9
Narrated from Ibn Umar (RA) that Allah’s Apostle ﷺ said: "Whoever dragged his garment arrogantly, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Judgment." So Umm Salamah (RA) said: "What should the women do with their hems?" He said: "Slacken them a hand span." So she said: "Then their feet will be uncovered." He said: "Then slacken them a forearm's length and do not add to that."
Narrated from Umm Salamah (RA) that the Prophet ﷺ slackened Fatimah's (RA) garment a hand-span.
Chapter No: 10
Narrated from Abu Burdah that Aishah (RA) showed us a patched woolen cloak, and a lower wrapper for the body of thick coarse cloth, she said: “The Apostle of Allah ﷺ died in these two garments."
Narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (RA) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "On the day his Lord spoke to him, Musa (AS) was wearing a woolen cloak, and a woolen robe, a woolen small cap and woolen trousers. and his sandals were made of the skin of a dead donkey."
